To all Hawaii Kai Holiday Parade Participants and Volunteers:
On behalf of the Hawaii Kai Lions Club and the Koko Marina Center, I would like to extend our heartfelt MAHALO to you and your group’s participants for making this another very successful, fun-filled Holiday Parade.
This year marked 50 years of Service to the community by our Hawaii Kai Lions Club, therefore it was only fitting that we proclaimed ourselves as the Official Grand Marshal of this Holiday Parade.
The Hawaii Kai Holiday Parade continues to be one of the largest and best organized community parades and that is a testament to all of you for your spirit of cooperation and volunteerism! Thank You also to all of the Police Officers who ensured the safety of participants and spectators.
The members of the Hawaii Kai Lions Club continue to spend months planning for this much anticipated community event. With approximately 1,200 participants, some 30 vehicles, miniature horses and parade dogs, the logistics can sometimes be quite daunting, however the joy that this parade brings to our community is such a great reward!

WELCOME TO THE HAWAII KAI LIONS CLUB
The Hawaii Kai Lions Club is a member of the District 50 Hawaii Lions and the Lions Clubs International (LCI). Our mission is to empower volunteers to serve in their community, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
The Hawaii Kai Lions was chartered in April 1973 and has continuously served the Hawaii Kai community and beyond.
The Hawaii Kai Lions Club was awarded the District 50 Hawaii Lions “Best Club” in 1993, 1994, and 1996.
The Hawaii Kai Lions Club sponsors and organizes various activities throughout the year, primarily within the Hawaii Kai community.
Lions serve. It’s that simple. We are committed to providing quality volunteer services to the east Oahu community of Hawaii Kai.
